There is not much to report this month but just to remind you we are due to have both the large and small halls re-decorated, so it is hoped that by the time you read this, the work will be well underway. Included will also be both storerooms and we expect this work to take around two weeks. We are staying with the same colours so not a hugely noticeable difference but brighter, cleaner and fresher halls.
Hire rates for commercial users increased from the 1st of January and, unless the energy crisis improves, rates will have to increase again from July, this time for all hall users as our energy costs will be rising significantly.
A date for your diary should be Monday 13th March when we will be holding our Hall’s AGM; this will be held in the small hall starting at 8.00 pm. As always, wine and nibbles will be on offer following what is normally a short meeting. Please do join us, especially if you have any questions about how our hall is run or maybe you would be interested in joining our hall committee as a trustee?
Saturday gardening dates for your diary will be Feb 18th and Mar 18th starting around 9.30 am. It is not too strenuous; refreshments are served along with a chat and a catch-up.
