1. General Functions

Hourly Rates (Min. 2hr charge excluding Saturday evening, which is 4hrs)

TIMES AVAILABLE are Sunday to Thursday 09:00 to 22:30, Friday & Saturday 09:00 to 24:00.

PARTIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE from teenage to 25 years will not normally be accepted.

2. Discounts

Regular weekly or monthly social events for local residents may benefit from a discount.

Bookings for periods in excess of 6 hours will benefit from a discount of 10%

3. Special Events

Large events such as seasonal parties and events covering multiple days will be quoted an individual cost.

EXAMPLE.  All Facilities 14:00 Friday to 12:00 Sunday for £1000.

7. Terms of Charges/Deposits

No booking is confirmed until the Full Hire Charge or agreed Booking Deposit has been received by the Booking Secretary.

Refunds of Hire Charges/Deposit on cancellation:

More than three months notice – 100%

Two to three months notice – 75%

One to two months notice – 50%

Less than 1 month more than 7 days – 25%

Less than 7 days – No refund

Refunds for bookings made for the Christmas period or New Year will be solely at the discretion of the Hall Committee irrespective of the time advised prior to the function.

Refundable Damage/Disturbance Bond where applicable, is to be paid at least seven days prior to the booking date.  The Bond will be retained until the Hall and Car Park have been inspected and if no damage or rubbish is detected and the activities did not give rise to complaints from neighbours, a full refund will be made.

8. Temporary Event Notices (‘Ten’)

The hirer must not apply for a ‘TEN’ without notifying the Bookings Secretary at the time of applying for the booking. These are limited for any venue to 12 in any year and the Committee reserves the right to refuse to hire the Hall or Committee Room where a ‘TEN’ will be applied for. Should it be discovered that a ‘TEN’ has been applied for without permission, the hiring will be considered cancelled and the full hire fee forfeit.
