April 2021

Following the government’s recent publication of the road map for coming out of lockdown, I am pleased to report our hall is set to partly re-open on the 17th May for fitness and exercise classes with a full return to normal on the 21st June. Both these dates are subject to change and reliant on the government data during this getting back to normal period. The period from the 17th March to 21st June will be subject to all Covid rules with social distancing, face coverings etc.

As reported last month we are not holding the Memorial hall AGM this year due to the Covid 19 rules in place but intend to post both the Chairman Report and the treasurers financial report online, details of how you can access these or ask any questions will be published on our website www.plattmemorialhall.org at the beginning of April or in next month’s VN.

The Hall gardens are looking in good shape and full of Spring growth so we hope to meet under the rule of six on April 17th for a small gathering of gardeners. There will be no refreshments as the hall will be closed under the Covid rules still in place. More information will come from Jane Jewitt nearer the time.
