July 2020

With no significant changes from Government that affect the hall, there is little to report this month. The only change affecting us is that, with the easing of restrictions on the gardening front as reported last month, we have decided to return to our Saturday morning volunteer sessions starting on the 18th of July. As usual, this will start around 9:30 am for 2 or 3 hours; please join us if you can as there will be much to catch up on. At the time of writing this, it will require all social distancing measures to be followed, and we will also try, as usual, to offer some refreshment, but may have to wait for the bacon and sausage rolls to return.

STOP PRESS!

Since writing the above short report we have had further relaxation measures introduced from the government; however, the trustees have decided that our hall should remain closed for the present period as we feel we cannot service the hall safely and as required under the guidelines set out by the government at this time. We have therefore set a provisional date for re-opening our hall on the 6th September subject to a second wave not occurring.
