November 2019

We are pleased to report that our planning application for the storage/office extension to our hall has been approved, so we will now be looking to take the next steps of applying for building regulations and seeking some quotes for carrying out this work. Once this is in place we can then look to firming up the financing side and when this work could be carried out.

This year is the turn for our New Year’s Eve disco/dance in the hall. It will be the usual format with bring your own food and drinks and decorate your tables along with your family and friends .We have as usual our regular DJ Graham who will be playing the music and entertaining us.

Our next gardening dates at the hall are Nov 16th and Dec 21st please join us if you can for an hour or two from 9.30am,its nothing strenuous ,refreshments as always will be served with the opportunity for a chat and catch up with others.

As we draw to the end of the growing season the trustees would like to thank all our regular gardeners for helping to keep our gardens looking good throughout the year come rain or shine with a special thankyou to Jane Jewitt for keeping us in the right direction. We would also like to thank the Hardy Plants Society for silently but regularly looking after the front border to our hall which always looks great. Thank You All.
