May 12th saw the re-arranged evening with Andy McConnell take place, and while not quite as well attended as we had hoped, it turned out to be a very entertaining and enjoyable event with all proceeds equally divided between our hall and AARCC Respite Centre (Rye.)
During the bank holiday week (28th May) we have had air-conditioning units installed into the large hall, and with the single unit already installed last year in the small hall we hope that this will make for more comfortable conditions in this hall, certainly for the larger gatherings of people.
With regard to larger gatherings at the hall, we now have the grassed overflow carpark available for use at the left-hand end of the carpark, if you do have reason to use it, please park with consideration for other users
Our next gathering of gardeners at the hall is the 9th June starting from 9.30am, please join us if you can for an hour or two, it’s nothing too strenuous, and as always refreshments will be served.
