March 2018

On the 3rd March, we look forward to Beyond the Roadshow an evening with Andy McConnell which includes a reception drink, ½ bottle of wine pp with a luxury cheese platter.

The evening will have Andy reflect on his career in the 1070s as a Hollywood rock journalist to his current role as the glass specialist of The Antiques Roadshow.

A trained Journalist Andy spent the mid-70s in California touring and interviewing many of the greatest rock and folk bands such as Tears for Fears, Kid Creole & the Coconuts and Stevie Winwood etc. before he discovered glass 40 years ago. This talk spanning Past to Present will also take an informal look behind the scenes of the BBC`s Antique Roadshow with all the gossip. There will also be the chance to have that piece of glass you have wondered about assessed by Andy.
