Platt Remembers

Platt Remembers pays tribute to ALL the men and women from the parish of St. Mary’s Platt who lived in our community and served in uniform between 1914 – 1919. Filming took place over a two-year period, at all times of the day between dawn and dusk, and in all weathers. In addition to this, over four years of research has gone into establishing the identities of the 200+ Platt soldiers and nurses who went off to war. Around three-quarters returned home and 100 years after the guns fell silent we honour their lives alongside those who were lost to the conflict.
